The cottage

Farming has taken place at Cronkshaw Fold since 1307. With exceptional views across the beautiful Alden Valley, there were originally 2 farms and 3 cottages at the farmstead. Now just the main farm-house remains and one recently renovated, family friendly, self-catering cottage has been developed.
Adjacent to the National Trust area of Holcombe Moor and the new West Pennine Bridleway the location is ideal for Walkers, Horse Riders and Mountain Bikers with many footpaths and bridleways close-by.

Renowned for environmental best practise, conservation and sustainable farming. Awarded the Silver Green Tourism Award in 2004.

Prices

The prices at Cronkshaw Fold Farm range from £180 per week to £380 per week depending on the number of bedrooms used. For example 1 couple staying 1 week and using 1 bedroom could be charged as little as £180. A family using all the bedrooms for 1 week would be charged £380 in high season.
