The alternative to a bunk barn at Cronkshaw Fold!

We have a delightful ‘Shepherds Shack' tucked away in a fold of land. This weather proof, well insulated little hideaway has either 2 bunks or the bottom bed can pull out and make a double bed. Heating and cooking is on a little wood burner, cooking may be a bit limited but there is a good pub/eaterie within easy walking distance. There is a raised deck with a bench and plenty of wood for the stove. The views are breathtaking. There are flushing toilets and a water supply nearby.

Cronkshaw Fold Farm is a 45 acre hill farm in the West Pennine Moors. The farm is run traditionally with laid hedges, dry stone walls, woodlands, large fish pond species rich hay meadows and large vegetable gardens. The farm has won national awards for its conservation and for educational access.

Very well behaved clean dogs welcome £7 a night, ( must be kept on a lead on the farm land)

1 bag of wood provided (extra bags can be purchased from the farm)
